Geez-louise! I am so grateful to only have 2 kids…..’cause I don’t think I could manage any more! *ROFL* My parents have been keeping 2 of my brother’s kids (who live in Florida), and needed a baby-sitter tonight so they could go to a church function, so I volunteered
I thought I had it all planned out…pizza, dessert pizza, and a dvd-”Eight Below”, very good Disney flick. After all, this was only gonna’ be about 3 hours with a 5-yr. old, two 9-yr. olds, and a 11-yr. old….how hard could it be?!? Well, the food didn’t last long at all, so I wound up popping 2 bags of popcorn; the movie (I think it was good) was drowned out by all the talking and giggling; popcorn was getting thrown around; and my poor kitty was being terrorized (being chased-picked up-squeezed-etc) I kept loudly getting on to Leah, in the hopes of my niece & nephew taking the hint too, but it did no good. I am one of those mousey mommies who feels like if they aren’t my kids, I don’t have any right to fuss at them or punish them *sigh* Now my nephew has gone home with my parents, but I (foolishly) allowed my niece to stay & sleep over….they were SUPPOSED to be in bed 45 minutes ago (since my parents will be here in the AM to take them to Sunday School & church), but I can still hear them back there whispering & giggling. Am I just being too uptight? I know they are just kids, and don’t expect them to behave like little adults, but my goodness, I hope & pray Leah & Camryn don’t act like that when they are guests at their friends houses! Ok, enough ranting *LOL*, onto the good stuff

I drove out to one of my coworker’s houses today for her to cut/highlight my hair (she not only works at the pharmacy, but runs a salon out of her home)…..this was the first time I had REAL highlights–not the storebought, do-it-yourself-kind I used once before. She did it pulling it through the cap, and though we only did every other hole, and didn’t leave the solution on as long as normal, I am quite blonde now!!! But the best thing was she blew my hair out straight….having recently gotten a perm, I was scared to blow dry, as I thought it would frizz my already frizzy hair. But she used a big paddle brush, and blew it out and used the BIG barrell curling iron, and I thought it looked so good–except now my eyebrows don’t match my hair! *LMAO* The girls don’t like it as much as I do….Camryn said she wants her old mommy back, while Leah said to Joe “See, told ya she looked ugly!” Joe, on the other hand, was a bit aroused by the new look! Guess it makes him feel like I’m a stranger who’s safe to fool around with! LOLOLOL!

Going to my….hmmm, what would I call my nephew’s wife?…..anyway, to a baby shower tomorrow at my sister’s house, and then hope to get a chance to work more on my pixel site….having a bit of trouble (again) with Wordpress, but I’ll be danged if I’m gonna’ let it whoop me!
