My Happenings

A WHOLE MONTH?!?!?! Seems I'm not cut out for this whole blogging thing after all *sigh* I mean, what's the point in having one if you aren't gonna update on a semi-regular basis?!? Sorry to leave you all hanging, with no word that I am alive & kicking.......or at least dangling my feet, anyway! LOL!

The new job has been consuming much of my time, and since getting everything set up involves TONS of computer work, needless to say I haven't had much desire to be on the computer when I am home! Perish the thought, huh? What wee-bit of time I have had on the PC I've spent either going thru emails or playing in PSP.......yep, you read right! I joined the Pixel Mall not so long ago, and it inspired me to at least dabble with some line art and tutorials.......it's disheartening that I can't draw diddly-squat from scratch yet, but I'll eventually reach that point. I have a link on my main page for Pixel Heaven~that's what I plan to call my graphics site~but for now it's not active. I hope it doesn't take as long to accomplish as some of my other projects.....*hangs head* I know I have been promising a weight-loss blog, and my poor lil' stamps pages are getting awfully dusty.......not to mention my Adoption Garden *sniffle*. I have SO MANY cuties purchased, sitting patiently on my hard drive just waiting to be added....I just can't get my ducks in a row and finish any one thing!

I got a new stove yesterday.....or is it oven? What the heck's the difference anyway?!? LOL! This is a nice white GE Profile with the smooth-top cooking surface! Been dreaming of one of those for a long time now! Now if I could just learn to quit being a clutter-bug, and we could paint the walls(most of them are just STARK WHITE now....yuck!) plus rip out the carpet & install some Pergo or similar flooring, I will be a happy camper! Well, and maybe replace the sofa(darn those built-in recliners on either end....they are warped & messing up the whole darn couch!), and of course the girls would both like their rooms redecorated(shoulda gone with a more classic, timeless look instead of fads, as their tastes change so frequently!) Anyhoo, enough talking about what I'd like to do, I need to get back to reality and do some laundry and dishes and feed the young 'uns some breakfast and get ready for work again! *SIGH* I won't promise you my next post will be anytime soon, heck, I may have to close this dusty thing down for the summer even, but at least I can say I blogged, and y'all know I didn't run off to join the circus or the witness protection program! LMBO!
