My Happenings

Just a quicky to apologize(yet again!) for the total lack of updates! Life has been moving at the speed of light, it seems. We are in the middle of repainting the house, I've been working extra hours @ the store, and tomorrow is Leah's 8th birthday, so I haven't even had time to read my emails lately(something like 500 unread between 2 of my email accounts...ACK!!!) If you've written me and not heard back, please don't think I'm ignoring you or being rude, I just haven't gotten around to the huge task of sorting thru it all yet, and quite frankly don't know when I'll get to!

We got to see some awesome

fireworks on the 4th....from my sister's front lawn, we could see the ones set off at our local fair grounds, then we set off a few ourselves(though it's not legal here in GA *oops*) My brother and 2 of his children were here at the time, visiting from Florida. We all had lots of fun, except maybe Leah, who was afraid the firecrackers would start a fire, and wouldn't even do a sparkler--something that 3 yr. old Camryn couldn't get enough of! ROFL!!!
Today we are going to the lake

, and possibly to Rooms To Go, to look for a new sofa. Then tomorrow I told Leah we'd take her shopping

to spend some of her b-day $$, then to eat

& maybe a

movie!
